The Sleepy Sparrow was a long time dream for owner, Kayla Leveille. As a person who has spent her life serving others - whether it be her 5 young children, her patients as a massage therapist, or volunteering - Kayla wanted to continue to make a difference in people’s lives through her shop.

We aim to be ethically sourced. Whether through fair trade, small businesses, environmentally friendly, or local artists - our goal is to make a positive impact in peoples lives with the products we sell. Many of our brands have powerful stories about how they came to be, and who they support. Around our shop you will see small signs posted by different brands with their stories, giving you a glimpse into what you are supporting by purchasing their products.

Additionally, Kayla had a hard time saying goodbye to her patients that she has worked with for years as a massage therapist. We have created a space for Kayla and other therapists to continue their practice, and serve patients with the healing art of massage.

We want everyone who comes through our doors to feel welcomed and accepted, and leave knowing that their purchases directly make a difference in other’s lives.
